4 Stars Works, but watch out
I works fine but mine came apart and wires inside snapped off their connections. It couldn’t be repaired. I suggest that once you assemble it, don’t try to take it apart for storage.
5 Stars Excellent for UHF – HD
I have owned this antenna for three years and used it for receiving UHF channels along with another anntena for the VHF channels. I got to test the HD reception using this antenna only recently.
I get all the major HD channels on UHF with this antenna around 40 miles from the tower farm in Houston. The only HD channel I do not receive is local PBS affiliate which broadcasts on a low power VHF channel (8.1/9). I placed the antenna in the attic and it picks the signal though our house is in a pine forest to the north.
5 Stars GREAT!
From my second story bedroom, this antenna gets reception from 35+ miles away with a hill in the way less than 1/2 mile away. It doesn’t seem too directional to me. Aim it at the weakest signal and you’ll probably get anything less than 30 miles away.
5 Stars Works great.
This antenna can pickup most of the digital channel signals within the 30 miles range. However it is very directional. If you get your HD signal from two towers pointing in different directions you might have to adjust it back and forth.
Here are the channels it can get:
