OK as a owner of this TV i want to say it is the best 19 inch out there, you cant get any better then this one, inputs allow you 2 make it into anything including a great moniter. Speakers are nice and loud and it has a very attractive look. This TV blows the others away, and that is why i gave it a 5 star, you cant ask for anything more from a 19inch tv then this privides!!!
As i said about the priceing!!!! I picked this tv up for myself for 215 dollars (although i got the 33% discount from target on floor modle (it was only on the floor for 2 days and wasnt even hooked up 2 anything so JACKPOT!!!)) Although if you see the price of this TV is outragous! Retail from target a few months ago was 330!!!! Great TV, find another place to buy!
I got this TV 2 hook up my ps3 and my computer 2. It handles PS3 with a very clear picture, i cant ask for better, and same with my computer, 1 player games work perfectly with it, split screen gets alittle cramped but it does not restrain you from playing at all! If you play 4 players (which i havent tryed yet) on it i have to ammagine that it will be 2 small!
4 Stars Great TV, Great Price
I needed to replace a large beast of a 19″ 4-year-old tv in the bedroom and through some research I came across this one. I found it for $299 and I went in to a store to check it out. It was hands down the best picture of about 12 models they had (all 19″) and the best price also, by at least $50. Got it home, set it up, let the auto setup run for about 30 minutes while it scanned for channels, got some dinner, came back and wow! The built in ATSC tuner picked up about 13 analog channels and 37 HD… Over the air with the regular old rabbit-ear antennas! Can’t wait to hook up the upscaling DVD player. Like I said, I use over the air signal, I don’t have cable and I get great reception, with the exception of about 2 channels in High Def. Can’t wait for Thursday to test this out watching Lost!
5 Stars Great HDTV for the money.
I bought this TV for my home office so I could play videogames on my PS3 during my breaks. When using an HDMI cable the games and Blu-ray movies are gorgeous! If you are patient and take the time to adjust the picture and resolutions just right, you will get more than your money’s worth from this TV. I’m not sure why it only mentions 720p, because it plays Blu-ray movies (and certain videogames) at 1080p.
Be warned that regular analog TV will look much worse. And so will SD DVDs. I will be getting an upconverting DVD player soon since the PS3 does not upconvert. In the meantime, using an HDMI cable helps clean up regular DVDs a great deal.
If you are into “next gen” gaming, HD movies, and are on a budget, this TV is a great choice.
4 Stars GREAT LITTLE BEAUTY
I originally was going to buy a bigger screen. However, after standing back about 15 feet, I noticed the picture was so vivid, and it didn’t diminish. For anyone with a smaller living room, it’s great. I’m completely satisfied. DVD was easy to hook up too.
