		<description>This review is not about the TV which is great.It&#039;s to expose their fraudulent finance offers.One of the selling points for me was their 24 month no interest financing offer.THEY NEVER HONORED THAT OFFER!After I ordered the TV I started receiving e-mails from Amazon to the effect that my order was canceled.When I called to inquire why they said my Amazon store card was stolen.I told them this was impossible as I had not received it yet!I applied for it the same time I purchased the TV.I had to reapply for another card.This put me passed the deadline for the financing offer.By the way it took at lest an hour to get that straightened out as I keep getting passed back and forth between Amazon customer service and the credit department.Neither department wanted to take responsibility.I then confirmed with the representative that I would still get the same financing offer.To which she agreed.
&lt;br /&gt;When I received my first bill there was a finance charge.I called and the rep said it would be corrected and credited.It was not.I had another finance charge on my next statement.I then called GE who is a separate entity and does the financing for Amazon.I was told that they didn&#039;t offer a 24 month no interest financing.He offered me a 18 month no interest financing.I decided this would be the best offer I could get so I took it.I&#039;m just waiting to see if that will actually be honored!
&lt;br /&gt;Bottom line.Amazon can not legally make any financing offer as they don&#039;t have a credit department.TV&#039;s purchased on credit from Amazon are financed through GE.

		<description>I would have given this tv a 5 star rating but I haven&#039;t owned it long enough. This is my first LCD tv and it has lived up to it&#039;s ratings. I can&#039;t find anything wrong with it at this point.

		<description>We brought our Samsung less than 2 years ago and it is already broken. The estimate for repair is almost $900, needless to say we are buying a new tv and it will not be a Samsung. Customer support was not helpful and have given us no compensation. If you do buy a Samsung buy an extended warranty as there is no quality control and the tv could stop working at any time.

		<description>My 32 inch Samsung LCD was great for five months then died a spectacular death. While watching it one day, a huge spark arced out of the top of the TV, and it was absolutely dead. That was the start of my trouble as warranty service was horrendous. I made nearly two dozen phone calls to Samsung, their warranty service contractor and the various technicians. Scheduled service visits would result in no one showing up. It took nearly a month and a half to get replacement parts installed.  I&#039;ll never buy a Samsung product again.

		<description>I ordered with Amazon&#039;s statement that if order was made in time, delivery would be made on certain day.  The day arrived (yesterday) and we got a call...to &quot;set up&quot; delivery.  What?  We said we thought delivery was happening that day, simple response, &quot;Nope, didn&#039;t make it out.&quot;  They offered Saturday delivery with Thanksgiving.  What even happened to Friday?  Point is, Amazon&#039;s &quot;order now for delivery by X date&quot; is a hypothetical promise, not to be counted on.   I believe Amazon should defer to &quot;under promise and over deliver&quot;.  There was no shot of this item being delivered by Weds., and why it was stated as reasonable, creates for poor service experience.  I have not received the set yet, so I can&#039;t review it, but point needs to be made that false promises impact service experience and that promise was simple reason I chose to purchase from Amazon.  They need to take it more seriously or find less loyalty from customers expected Amazon to say what they mean.  (I understand shipper is not Amazon, but point is they make the promise).  Whatever the promise states, I suggest you expect 4-5 days more and only buy if that delivery date works for you.

About a month ago, the screen went blank and all I had was the audio.  I called Samsung and they contacted some fly by night TV shop to fix the problem.  Guess what, the problem is still there and the TV shop damaged the TV.  Samsung doesn&#039;t want to know anything about the damage.  They are not standing behind the TV.  From now on, it is Sony all the way.  I am very surprised about Samsung but I have heard other stories like mine and the initial problem with the screen going blank is a problem they have been having with many of their models.
