  1. The TV may be fine but…. the advertisement says “you order a Samsung LCD TV….and you get for fREE a blue ray player and cables. I got the TV, the cables and no blue ray player.

Seems….I’m not entitled to it because ONLY items shipped by Amazon warrants receiving these. The funny thing is….you do NOT know that Amazon is NOT the shipper of the TVs until after you order it.

    So…you are stuck!

I’m out $[...] more because of this fraudulent and misleading information.

SHAME ON YOU AMAZON. TRUST ME I (AND ALL MY CLIENTS WILL KNOW) WILL NOT BUY EVER AGAIN FROM AMAZON.

  2. I purchased a Samsung TV and I had done alot of research before. I thought I was getting a great TV. Wow, was I wrong. About a month ago, the screen went blank and all I had was the audio. I called Samsung and they contacted some fly by night TV shop to fix the problem. Guess what, the problem is still there and the TV shop damaged the TV. Samsung doesn’t want to know anything about the damage. They are not standing behind the TV. From now on, it is Sony all the way. I am very surprised about Samsung but I have heard other stories like mine and the initial problem with the screen going blank is a problem they have been having with many of their models.

  3. I ordered with Amazon’s statement that if order was made in time, delivery would be made on certain day. The day arrived (yesterday) and we got a call…to “set up” delivery. What? We said we thought delivery was happening that day, simple response, “Nope, didn’t make it out.” They offered Saturday delivery with Thanksgiving. What even happened to Friday? Point is, Amazon’s “order now for delivery by X date” is a hypothetical promise, not to be counted on. I believe Amazon should defer to “under promise and over deliver”. There was no shot of this item being delivered by Weds., and why it was stated as reasonable, creates for poor service experience. I have not received the set yet, so I can’t review it, but point needs to be made that false promises impact service experience and that promise was simple reason I chose to purchase from Amazon. They need to take it more seriously or find less loyalty from customers expected Amazon to say what they mean. (I understand shipper is not Amazon, but point is they make the promise). Whatever the promise states, I suggest you expect 4-5 days more and only buy if that delivery date works for you.

  5. My 32 inch Samsung LCD was great for five months then died a spectacular death. While watching it one day, a huge spark arced out of the top of the TV, and it was absolutely dead. That was the start of my trouble as warranty service was horrendous. I made nearly two dozen phone calls to Samsung, their warranty service contractor and the various technicians. Scheduled service visits would result in no one showing up. It took nearly a month and a half to get replacement parts installed. I’ll never buy a Samsung product again.
