As a signal splitter it probably works but from what I believe I read in Consumer Report (cant remember which issue) it was given a failing grade as it is welded together and there is no way to check what is inside that is supposed to amplify the signal. There is a small LED light that shows green when it’s plugged in to power outlet but that doesn’t mean it’s doing anything to amplify signal. I returned the one I ordered when I realized what it was. I’m out the cost of shipping to me but Amazon did pay return shipping.

I purchase this product, and a friend told me that I throw my money, that what I had to do is be sure that the terminals of the cable were well. I tested the terminals a use a normal splitter and I had the same result(a good image but not perfect). Well my advice is check your cable first and terminals because in my case I can’t see the difference when I use normal splitter.

The instructions that came with it are clear that you are not to use this with satellite service. I don’t know why, but that is what it says. It does not differentiate between the sat to rec cable and the rec to tv cable but since it is unlikely to be for sat to rec service (because who needs 8 sat outputs), I am going to return it.

Item arived on time in good condition, it is exactly as the picture
showed it. I have wired it into my system but have not as yet powered it up, I don’t expect any problems.

We have not installed this product yet. Delivery was very prompt. After receipt, we had some questions which we emailed and their response was very fast and complete. Would certainly use this vendor again.
